About Bluebird Babysitting

Bluebird Babysitting offers part-time daycare as well as "drop in" babysitting services (Tuesday through Friday). Our typical customer is a busy mom or dad who needs a safe and reliable place to take their little one occasionally (or regularly) for a few hours a day. We are licensed as a Small Family Childcare Home through the State of California (Facility# 304312115).

We have a dedicated playroom with fun and educational toys and one of the largest back yards in Laguna Beach. Our "park like" play area is ideal for running, bike or trike riding, and other activities that stimulate large muscle development.

We color, do arts and crafts and watch children's movies when the weather is bad. We have a well stocked children's library for reading and story time. But most of all, we prefer to spend as much time as possible outside enjoying free play and active games.

About Me

I feel very lucky to call myself a lifetime resident of Laguna Beach. Growing up in Three Arch Bay in the late 70’s and early 80’s I was one of those girls all the moms talked about . . . for babysitting.  At one point - I had so many regular clients that I was busy almost every night of the week. It was my first job as a teenager and I've decided to make it my career.

I am Red Cross certified in Infant and Child CPR and have completed the Red Cross course in Pediatric First Aid & Health and Safety.  I owned and operated a local cafe for 5 years, and am knowledgeable of all California State Food Handling requirements.
